The Pre-Visit
You've booked your first appointment with me. Now what?

Expect an appointment confirmation email/text. After your appointment has been booked, I will send you a welcome e-mail within 48 hours. This will let you know how to access the building and where I'm located. If you need to park in a parking garage, I have a great recommendation for that as well. Should you have any questions, feel free to email me at : haven.hair.loft0924@gmail.com and I'll do my best to respond within 2 days time.

Leading up to your appointment, you'll receive reminder email/texts to confirm your upcoming appointment as well.
The Experience :
When you arrive, you'll receive a warm welcome as we begin to indulge the senses:

I have complimentary refreshments available for you such as coffee, water, seltzer water, wine, as well as a variety of snacks. Should you need a charger for your phone I also have a battery pack you're welcome to use.

We'll start your visit off with a thorough consultation. During which time I'll ask what you're wanting to do with your hair, what your current hair routine is looking like, and any issues or concerns you have with your hair.
Once we're on the same page with your hair and have a plan in place I'll start the service. Throughout our time together I'll also have relaxing music going on in the background.
Each service includes an immersive shampoo experience:

I'll dim down the lights as you recline back into my shampoo lounger. You'll receive a warm towel around your shoulders. I also have a blanket for added comfort. You have the option to receive a complimentary scalp massage using jojoba oil and essential oils for aromatherapy. I'll also have an oil diffuser going. (But if you're sensitive to scents let me know and we can skip this part !). For each service I usually start off with a clarifying shampoo to loosen up dirt, oil & buildup. I then follow up with a moisturizing shampoo as well to ensure your hair is clean but also nourished. We'll wrap up the shampoo process with a nourishing conditioner and 3 step massage process. First I run my hands through your hair to work in the conditioner. Then using a scalp massaging brush I massage & stimulate your scalp. And finally I finishing things off with a relaxing scalp and neck massage using my hands. You should feel totally calm and relaxed as I towel dry your hair with another warm towel. From there we'll move onto your haircut / blow-dry.​

I'll give you tips and tricks throughout our visit to help you style and maintain your hair easier at home. I can recommend products, style methods, and even hands on tutorials.​
